Counselling
Both
counselling
and
psychotherapy
offer a safe and supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions, but they differ in depth and focus.
Counselling
is generally shorter-term and focuses on specific issues or challenges. It can help with concerns such as stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or life transitions. Counselling provides practical support and coping strategies to help you navigate these challenges.

Transactional Analysis
At
CM Diverse Therapy
, my work is grounded in
Transactional Analysis (TA)
, a humanistic and relational approach to psychotherapy. TA helps us understand how our past experiences shape our thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others.
In simple terms, TA explores the way we communicate and relate to ourselves and others. It provides a framework for identifying patterns in our relationships, developing self-awareness, and creating meaningful change.
A key idea in TA is that we all have different “
ego states
”—Parent, Adult, and Child—which influence how we think, feel, and behave. By understanding these states, we can gain insight into our responses and build healthier ways of relating to ourselves and others.
Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, emotional challenges, or relational difficulties, TA offers a structured yet flexible approach to help you gain clarity, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward a more fulfilling life.
