Counselling and Psychotherapy in Central Watford and online
Inclusive, neuro-affirming therapy for adults, children and young people
I offer in-person counselling and psychotherapy in central Watford, supporting clients from Watford, Bushey, Oxhey, Rickmansworth, Croxley Green, and the surrounding Hertfordshire area, as well as online therapy.
I work with adults, children and young people, providing a warm, inclusive and neuro-affirming space to explore anxiety, low mood, relationships, trauma, identity, life transitions, emotional overwhelm and feelings of stuckness.
From late August, I will have more in-person appointments available from my new therapy room in central Watford. Free initial consultations are available.
Therapy can help us understand ourselves and our relationships more clearly. You might come to therapy because you feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure why the same patterns keep repeating.
Together, we can explore what is happening for you, how your experiences have shaped you, and what might help you feel more grounded, connected and able to make different choices.
Areas I can support you with
Relationships and communication
Understanding patterns in relationships, conflict, people-pleasing, withdrawal, boundaries and communication.
Anxiety and overwhelm
Support with worry, fear, panic, overthinking, emotional overwhelm and feeling unable to switch off.
Low mood and self-criticism
Exploring sadness, shame, harsh inner messages, low confidence and the feeling of not being good enough.
Identity and belonging
A space to explore culture, migration, neurodiversity, sexuality, gender, difference and feeling “other”.
Trauma and attachment
Gently exploring how past experiences may still affect your sense of safety, trust, emotions and relationships.
Feeling stuck and life transitions
Support with change, uncertainty, burnout, career pressure, family changes and repeating patterns that feel hard to shift.

Frequently Asked Questions
We’ll begin with an informal phone or video call to discuss what you’d like to achieve from our sessions and to answer any questions you may have. My goal is to ensure you get the most from therapy, so if at any point I feel that I don’t have the right skills to support you, I’ll let you know and, where possible, recommend other resources or specialists.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, and together we’ll decide which approach best suits your needs. I recommend starting with 12 weekly sessions, after which we’ll check in to assess how you’re feeling about the process. From there, you can decide if you’d like to continue with longer-term therapy.
I offer a limited number of reduced-rate places for clients on a low income. We can discuss this further during our initial conversation.
Exploring difficult or traumatic life events, especially from childhood, can be painful. Because of this, it’s hard to predict how long therapy will take, as we may need to approach things gradually. Together, we’ll establish a pace that feels right for you, and you decide what to share and when.
If we meet and you feel that I’m not the right therapist for you, I completely understand. It’s important that you feel comfortable and supported in therapy. If that’s the case, I’ll respect your decision and, where possible, help you find a therapist who may be a better fit for your needs.
